If you've ever come across an extremely difficult person and have wished you could change the way they are acting or make their ideas and reasoning coincide with yours without them knowing how or why, then you've wished for the powers of covert hypnosis.
While many people call covert hypnosis an urban legend, there are many accounts that prove otherwise. Actually this view would be great for anybody who decides to learn the techniques (and it is a technique) since the person it's being practiced on should not even be aware that it is happening.

People are fascinated with the subject of hypnosis and are usually riveted to videos of people that are “under the spell” of hypnotists. But what about that claim of hypnotists that there are people that can actually influence you without you knowing it? And you are not being under a hypnotic spell, to boot?
Well, actually, that is true to a point. There are not a lot of people that can do that, but you can see that example with extremely persuasive salesmen and politicians that have perfected this technique. Can you affect all people in this way? Not really, just about ten percent of people that can be that suggestible and follow you without questioning.
Can You Use Covert Hypnosis?

You hear so much about covert hypnosis, exactly what is it? To make the answer simple, it's the art of convincing people what to do by using embedded commands in your normal conversation. It's called covert because you don't even realize what's happening to you.
It's not as strange as you think. We all use conversational hypnosis on an everyday basis, especially when we want to change the way a person acts. You would say things like, “You're not really going to make that work ... “ and you will definitely remember that being used on you.
